Warranty FAQs

Last Updated: April 2, 2026

Welcome to the Chrome District Warranty Help Center. Below you will find information about our warranty process, what qualifies and disqualifies a claim, and how to file. If you do not find the answer you need, please reach out to us via live chat, phone, or email.

My Item Arrived Defective

If your product arrives defective or does not meet quality standards, please contact us immediately. Based on the issue, we will troubleshoot the problem or begin a warranty claim on your behalf.

Important: Do not submit a standard return request for defective items. Doing so may void the warranty or delay the resolution. Contact us directly instead.

What Is Covered Under Warranty?

Warranties cover manufacturer defects only. Any damage caused during use, installation, or mishandling will void the warranty in most cases.

To determine what warranty your product includes, check the product listing under the "Warranty Information" tab. If no warranty information is listed, call our customer service team to inquire.

It is the sole discretion of the manufacturer to accept or deny warranty coverage. Chrome District is not the warrantor, but we will advocate on our customers' behalf to help resolve warranty claims whenever possible.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If your item is eligible for a warranty claim, contact our warranty department:

Please have your order number and a description of the issue ready so we can assist you promptly. Photos or videos of the defect are helpful and may be required by the manufacturer.

Filing a Warranty If Extend Protection Was Purchased

Step 1: Verify whether the original manufacturer warranty has expired. If it has not expired, you must file the warranty claim through the manufacturer first. Contact us at support@chromedistrict.net or (972) 354-1081 to start that process.

Step 2: If the manufacturer warranty has already expired, your Extend protection plan kicks in. File your claim directly with Extend by calling them or using their online portal. They will instruct you on next steps, including getting a replacement product ordered.

Warranty vs. Return — What Is the Difference?

Returns apply to unused, uninstalled products returned within our return window. See our Return Policy for details.

Warranty claims apply to products that develop defects after use or installation. These are handled through the manufacturer, not through our standard return process.
