Best Semi Truck Steering Wheels — Chrome & Wood Grain Upgrades

Upgrade Your Cab with a Custom Steering Wheel

Your steering wheel is the part of the truck you touch most. Upgrading to a chrome or wood grain steering wheel transforms the entire feel of the cab — and it's one of the easiest interior upgrades to install.

Popular Steering Wheel Styles

  • Chrome: Polished chrome spokes with a leather-wrapped grip. Classic and durable.
  • Wood Grain: Real or high-quality simulated wood finish. Premium look and feel.
  • Two-Tone: Combination of chrome and wood or chrome and leather for a custom appearance.

Sizing

Most semi truck steering wheels are 18" diameter (standard Class 8 size). Some drivers prefer 16" for a sportier feel. Confirm your truck's hub pattern before ordering.

Installation

Steering wheel replacement requires a steering wheel puller tool (typically included or available separately). The process takes 15-30 minutes:

  1. Remove the horn button/pad
  2. Remove the center nut
  3. Use the puller to remove the old wheel
  4. Install the new wheel and torque the center nut
  5. Reconnect the horn
